Unless you’ve been spending 2003 in bomb shelter, I’m not going to pretend that I’m telling you anything new when I say that Doom 3 is being developed by id Software. You probably also know that this is one of those games where the release date is the biggest mystery. But provided it doesn’t turn into a new Duke Nukem Forever, id can take it easy, knowing that no game will match its mind-blowing graphics any time soon and the average hardware will eventually catch up with the system requirements, resulting in better sales. But can this game offer more than pretty dynamic lighting? Let’s take a look at what we know about it at its current stage.
