Steelpad review
Testing :Compared to a simple clothed mousepad the Steelpad wins with ease.
However, if you’re are used to a Speed-Pad , Ratpadz, or Everglide you will feel that the Steelpads smoothness isn’t as good. When I compare it to my Speed-Pads I notice that my mouse runs much smoother on the Speed-Pads.
The biggest problem that I’ve encountered is the amount of noise. Gliding your mouse along the Steelpad you’ll hear lot’s of noise, without the Teflon tapes this is even worse :( That's in my opinion the worst about the pad.
A plus point for some people is that it’s made out of aluminum so it's feeling cold all the time, but maybe sometimes too cold in winter.
Another problem is that the pad isn’t compatible with most of Logitechs optical mouses , only with the MX serie. (this problem is listed on Steelpads website)
