DisplayFusion 3.1.5

Posted on Thursday, October 15 2009 @ 21:41:27 CEST by

DisplayFusion will make your dual monitor (or triple monitor or more) experience smooth and painless. With DisplayFusion you can add a taskbar to every monitor that works and looks just like the Windows Taskbar. Or take advantage of advanced multi-monitor wallpaper support, Flickr integration for image searching and fully customizable window management hotkeys. These are just a few of the many things that DisplayFusion can do.

Changelog:
  • Changed: Added a “Middle-clicking a taskbar item opens a new application instance” setting for the multi-monitor taskbars (same feature as in Windows 7)
  • Changed: Added a “Wallpaper Settings” button to the main Wallpaper window, for easier access to the global wallpaper settings
  • Changed: Taskbar thumbnail previews now use the Windows 7 style slide/morph effect, instead of fading in/out (affects all versions of Windows)
  • Changed: Taskbar now supports Aero rendering in Windows Vista
  • Changed: Languages are now loaded when selected, not while DisplayFusion is loaded (this should help any translators who want to make changes without closing DisplayFusion – just select a different language then select yours again)
  • Fixed: Taskbars are no longer hidden by the “Aero Peek” feature in Windows 7
  • Fixed: Taskbars now load even when standard Windows (Segoe, Arial… etc) fonts are corrupt
  • Fixed: Taskbar thumbnail previews are no longer transparent where they shouldn’t be
  • Fixed: Taskbar thumbnail previews now look correct when Windows font scaling is used
  • Fixed: Taskbar thumbnail preview tooltips no longer show double ampersands incorrectly (&&)
  • Fixed: Taskbar compatibility improvements: Visual Basic 6, ImgBurn, NewsLeecher, LexisNexis NoteMap, NuSphere PhpED, WinSCP
  • Fixed: TitleBar Button compatibility improvements: Skype, iTunes, Google Chrome, VMware Player, Console windows, PuTTY
  • Fixed: Mouse Hook compatibility improvements: SRWare Iron
  • Fixed: HotKeys and TitleBar Buttons can now position console-style windows correctly (command prompt, Putty… etc)
  • Fixed: Better DisplayFusion taskbar compatibility with Delphi applications
  • Fixed: If you assign all HotKeys to TitleBar Buttons, it now shows the correct warning when trying to add another TitleBar Button
  • Fixed: The TitleBar Buttons feature now correctly detects the background/foreground images in Windows 7 and Windows Vista “classic/standard” mode
  • Fixed: Taskbar thumbnail preview tooltip no longer covers the first taskbar items when the taskbar is vertical
  • Fixed: Failed wallpaper updates don’t show duplicate tray notifications anymore (results in less duplicate tray notifications)
  • Fixed: Middle-clicking the desktop in Windows 7 no longer causes the desktop icons to temporarily disappear
  • Fixed: Tab order and keyboard shortcut issues in a few places
  • Fixed: Tooltips in the Wallpaper window no longer flicker
  • Fixed: Taskbars will start-up correctly when a full-screen application is detected (previously it would wait until the full-screen application was closed or no longer full-screen)
  • Fixed: Blank grey window that appears and covers other windows should no longer appear
