Creative launches Webcam Live! Effects

Logitech released its QuickCam Fusion with video effects program on Monday and on Tuesday Creative followed by introducing a webcam with similar editing software. The Creative Webcam Live! Effects is a USB 2.0 with an interpolated 1.3 megapixel resolution and it is capable of delivering up to 30fps at 640 x 480 resolution. The Creative Smart Face Tracking feature tries to keep the user's face in view and is even capable of tracking multiple users and the cam also has a 4-way flexible base to place the cam anywhere.

The included Creative Advanced Video FX utility software allows users to thrill family and friends with fun mirrors, face morphs and special photographic effects during Video IM sessions. They can even hide their location with lively and intriguing backdrops. Creative Advanced Video FX will be the next fun craze for Video IM, and will definitely be an enjoyable conversation topic when instant messaging with friends!

In addition, a bonus Creative Stik-On Skin for WebCams is included in the standard package, as well as a lapel microphone for better voice clarity. Also included are the award-winning software, Creative WebCam Center, and five other feature-rich software that enable users to make full use of their webcam.

The Creative WebCam Live! Effects is now available at a suggested retail price of US$79 . The standard package includes a WebCam Live! Effects with USB2.0 cable attached, Creative lapel microphone, Quick Start Booklet, Creative Stik-On for Webcams, as well as two CDs containing the following software bundle: Creative WebCam Center, ArcSoft PhotoImpression, ArcSoft VideoImpression, ArcSoft MultiMedia Email, ArcSoft Collage Creator, and Yahoo!
