Last week it was reported that Microsoft removed the feature to search for driver updates via the Windows 10 Device Manager. Now there's a report at Windows Latest that indicates Microsoft now makes it easier to find driver updates and optional updates via the Windows Update tab in the Settings menu. The feature is present in Windows 10 Build 19041.450 and newer.

The page will show optional Microsoft software updates as well as OEM drivers that have been approved by Microsoft.
This feature removes the need to get driver updates via Device Manager. Instead, you’ll be able to access the optional updates for drivers or security features under Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > View optional updates.
