HyperX Alloy Origins 60 arrives for $139.99

HyperX is now shipping its Alloy Origins 60 for $139.99. As the name suggests, this is a compact mechanical keyboard with a so-called 60 percent design. With the exception of RGB LED backlighting for the keys, the features are reduced to the bare minimum. The keyboard has PBT key caps and uses HyperX Red Switches with a linear operation and operating force of 45g.

The per-key backlight has five brightness levels and the keyboard has onboard memory to support three profiles. Alloy Origins 60 features a detachable USB Type-C to USB Type-A keyboard cable. This gives you the ability to connect it to USB Type-C devices if you have a USB cable with Type-C on both ends. The keyboard also comes with additional accessory keycaps, including a HX ESC keycap and exclusive HyperX-designed spacebar, along with a keycap puller for added customization.

Alloy Origins 60 features Custom Game Mode, allowing users to choose which keys are enabled and disabled. Macro keys can be assigned and stored in the macro library, and users can choose from three adjustable keyboard angles for perfect positioning. With on-board memory, users can save up to three profiles for on-the-go gaming using HyperX NGENUITY software. Other features include 100 percent anti-ghosting, full N-key rollover and a detachable USB Type-C to USB Type-A keyboard cable.
