A few days ago I covered the server version and today Western Digital released a bunch of information about the gamer version of the 150GB Raptor! It's called WD Raptor X and it features a translucent window so you can see the inner parts of the HDD.

This HDD spins at 10,000 RPM and features 16MB cache memory. It has an average read seek time of only 4.6ms and a capacity of 150GB. And it also features NCQ.

The noise level in idle mode is 39dBA and 46dBA in seek mode.

You can check it out over here. The HDD is priced at $349.99
