In this review I'm taking a quick look at the Zowie P-TF Rough, this mousepad is
similar to the G-TF Rough
that I tested a couple of months
ago, the only difference is the size. The P-TF Rough measures 320mm x 250mm x 2mm, which is more in line with the size of most
The P-TF Rough is a cloth mousepad with a heavily textured surface. It arrives curled up in a cardboard box.
As fast as TF speed - rougher texture for different glide
Very close to plastic pad texture
Triple-stitched edges prevents fray and increases the lifetime of the pad
Rolled edges for increased comfort while playing
100% compatible with all types of mice
Uncurling the mousepad takes some time, I recommend you lay some heavy books on it to speed up the process. Just like the G-TF Rough,
this mousepad gives off a weird chemical/rubber smell that dissipates over time.
The rear is made from a glossy, rubberish material to prevent the mousepad from slipping on your desk.
The P-TF Rough is 2mm thick and features triple-stitched, rolled edges without rounded corners.
The P-TF Rough surface is similar to the G-TF that I tested a couple of months ago. The rough surface feels very slick and provides
great control to make very precise and smooth movements. The build quality is pretty good but the mousepad is not water resistant,
liquids get absorbed by the P-TF's surface.
Zowie's P-TF Rough is a great choice for fans of cloth mousepads, the rough surface provides great tracking and the build quality of
this mousepad is really good. The Zowie P-TF Rough can be found online for under 20EUR.

DV Hardware awards the Zowie P-TF Rough with a 8/10
